On World Children’s Day our Kid Colleague, Abigél, gave a speech in front of members of the European Parliament, alongside her peers from the Eurochild Children’s Council.
At the request of Eurochild, our Kid Colleague Mór moderated a roundtable in Brussels. He asked four professionals about their work, good practices and the potential of child participation.
The 8th edition of the annual Child Rights Report seeks to answer this question across more than 90 pages.

So much is at risk right now – Including Hintalovon

Year after year, we work under increasingly difficult conditions – but for the first time, it is uncertain whether we can continue our work. In March 2024, the Foundation was added to a list maintained by Hungary’s newly established Sovereignty Protection Office, a government body with wide-reaching oversight over civil society organizations receiving foreign funding. Hintalovon was included solely because it implements a European Union–funded program focusing on child rights and environmental protection.
Now, a new list is being prepared thanks to the proposed “transparency” law. If we end up on this list, it could make everything we’ve built so far impossible to sustain.

Join our campaign and support us so we can continue to stand up for children’s rights.

It only takes two minutes of your time, but it means the world to us.
