At the Hintalovon Foundation, we believe that technological progress serves the best interests of children only if their rights and safety are fully respected along the way. This is why we have prepared our latest report examining the relationship between artificial intelligence and children’s rights.
The document aims to summarise the child rights that may be affected by the use of artificial intelligence, highlight the opportunities and positive impacts of technological development, and map out the potential risks as well.
The report offers a snapshot of where we stand today: what we know about technological change, how these developments may affect children, and what considerations should guide future decisions. At the same time, we are aware that the field of AI is evolving extremely rapidly, which means that regularly revisiting and updating children’s rights perspectives will be essential.
The text is available in both Hungarian and English to support professionals, decision-makers, and everyone who believes that technological innovation should serve the best interests of children.
